Blockbuster Furious 7 Has Passed The Avengers To Become The Third Highest-grossing Movie Of All Time At The Global Box Office.

The high-octane action film has raked in over $1.5 billion worldwide, nudging ahead of the 2012 Marvel blockbuster.

The only films to have grossed more are James Cameron's Avatar and Titanic.

Vin Diesel and his castmates are now preparing for an eighth instalment of the film, after announcing plans to continue the franchise in April.
