Avengers Sequel Blasts Past Furious 7 To Take Over International Box Office

The Avengers: Age Of Ultron Has Ended Furious 7'S Run At The Top Of The International Box Office Six Days Before Its Official Release In The U.s.

The Avengers sequel hauled in an impressive $201 million overseas on its first weekend in international territories - over $110 million more than the latest Fast & Furious film, which is the biggest movie of the year so far.

Furious 7 recently became the first film in history to pass the $1 billion mark at the global box office in just 17 days.

Asia's The Left Ear is the world's third biggest film, followed by Home and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Sri Lanka, on May 2nd for his first trip to the country and the first visit by a Secretary of State since 2004.

In Colombo, he will meet government leaders, civil society members, and other representatives from the country’s diverse communities to hear and express U.S. support for their vision for a more peaceful, stable, and prosperous future for its people.
